ASL Chat will be returning June 1st. Please join us then for a summer of flying hands, conversation, and meeting tons of new people also interested in learning ASL!

New signers often struggle to find practice partners. These ASL Chat sessions are designed to support new learners through facilitated discussions in ASL providing the learner an opportunity to grow their confidence and comfortability using the language with others. Sessions are hosted through Zoom and have limited spots to maximize the time we have together. Be sure to download the Zoom app (apple / android) to your phone or computer prior to your session.

Placement Screening

Click the button below to take the placement screening to determine your ASL Chat level. Scores are immediately generated when screening is submitted.

  • Beginner Chat Level: < 18 points

  • Intermediate Chat Level: 18-27 points

  • Advanced Chat Level: 28+

Pick a Session Type

25-mins (Free / Suggested Donation: $3.00)
10 person max

Light conversation with other signers. A support guide may or may not be present. Leveled groups available.

30-mins ($5.00)
5 person max

A guide supports signers in light conversation while providing real-time feedback for those who request it. Leveled groups available.
